I had a special opportunity to photograph some very sweet senior citizens at a local retirement community. I fell in love. There was something priceless about the wisdom in their eyes, and a thousand stories behind the laugh lines etched on their faces.....

Mr. Rising Star

So the son of one of my girlfriends recently stared in a Nicholas Cage movie (due out next year) and has been modeling and singing as well. This is a talented and very driven kid. Got the opportunity to shoot some promo stuff for him. I didn't do the design, only the images....

Mixed Media

Mixed media projects are new and experimental for me. This is really the first non-traditional piece that I've done.....

This was done with various fabrics, buttons, glue and mounted on a traditional canvas frame. I'm excited about getting a little more creative with my mediums. More posts like this soon.....

Photography

I most definitely wouldn't call myself a photographer, but more of a Photoshop-fanatic. I enjoy editing and modifying images probably to an abnormal extent. Here is a sampling some images that I've taken and modified to some degree.....

Painting

Painting was really my first form of visual art. I remember having to copy a Van Gogh in my first art class as a sophomore in high school before I even really knew how to draw. It was not pretty, I assure you. Painting has since become a love, an escape and a true form of expression. Here are some more recent attempts......

Drawing

These are some of my first experiments with pastels. These sketches are done from still life that I assembled....carefully hiding the mold that had begun to form on fruit. ick. Drawings were done over the span of several days.
